Paul LaBarge Discusses the Trans Canada Trail Expansion with Premier Wynne
Last week, Premier Kathleen Wynne announced that Ontario is expanding its world-class trails system as a key legacy initiative of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games.
Firm partner and Chair of the Trans Canada Trail, Paul LaBarge, met with the Premier when she made the announcement at Greenwood Conservation Area in Ajax.
The province is investing more than $3.5 million in the Pan Am/Parapan Am Trails to help create a continuous trail of more than 2,000 kilometres. The expansion will help complete 250 kilometres of gaps, which will connect communities from Ottawa to Windsor and Fort Erie to Huntsville.
