Ottawa Biotech Firm Avivagen Closes $5.3M Financing
Ottawa-based biotech firm, Avivagen, plans to break into the U.S. market with the funds from their recent $5.3 million private placement.
Avivagen makes a line of natural health products designed to replace antibiotics in livestock feed. The capital will help carry them while they wait for regulatory approval.
LaBarge Weinstein acted as counsel to Avivagen with a team that included Shane McLean, Tayyaba Khan, and Zack Caverson.
