SnapIT is a New Zealand-based firm that offers GPS tracking, satellite communication, on-board cameras and AI-driven data storage that can identify fish species, type and size. The acquisition of Teem Fish marks the beginning of a long-term strategy to invest in global fisheries companies with strong local customer relationships.

Teem Fish, based in Prince Rupert, is a fisheries enterprise that uses advanced electronic monitoring (EM) technology to support fish harvesters to meet their regularity requirements. The company has strong connections in the fisheries industry, and it is a federally designated fisheries monitoring service provider.
