Kik Interactive Raises $19.5M
Just over a week after announcing 50 million users are active on its cross-platform chat app for mobile phones, Waterloo, Ont.-based Kik Interactive Inc. has closed $19.5-million in Series B funding.
The company’s latest round was led by Foundation Capital, with participation from original investors RRE Ventures, Spark Capital and Union Square Ventures, who in March 2011 contributed $8-million in Series A funds.
