Mabel’s Labels Acquired by CCL Industries for Avery North America
On January 4, 2016, CCL Industries announced the acquisition of Mabel’s Label’s for Avery North America.
Mabel’s Labels is a well-known North American brand for durable, personalized identification labels for children and families. Fiscal year end March 31, 2016 sales are forecasted to be $9.5 million, with an adjusted EBITDA of approximately $2.8 million for the combined entities. The debt free, all cash purchase consideration, subject to customary closing conditions is approximately $12 million. The new business will continue to trade as Mabel’s Label’s, Inc. and report within CCL’s Avery Segment.
