Another Takeover for Match Marketing
Toronto-based shopper marketing firm Match Marketing Group has acquired OSL Marketing Group. The acquisition includes the company’s OSL Marketing, Ignite Activation and Blender Experience Design divisions.
“Teaming up with Match Marketing Group will provide many more benefits for our clients,” said Robert Otis, CEO of OSL Marketing Group. “Clients will now have access to a complete range of integrated solutions from one source. We were looking to take our offering to the next level as the marketing landscape continues to evolve.”
The strategic acquisition – Match’s second in two months, after acquiring Boulder, Colo.- and New York-based Action Marketing Group . The move further strengthens an integrated end-to-end insights, promotion, digital, experiential and retail platform that completes the path to purchase for the consumer. It is seen by all involved as the next of many expansive steps to be made.
Beringer Capital partnered with Match last year and provided capital to complete this acquisition. Chairman Perry Miele added: “This move was based on continued direction from clients looking for fewer and more integrated agency relationships as resources are concentrated below the line.”
From all of us at LaBarge Weinstein, we congratulate our client, Beringer Capital, on these two recent deals.
