Clio Raises $20 Million Series C Financing
Today, Clio announced that they have closed a successful Series C funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, valued at $20M. Over the next 12 months, Clio says they will use the new funding to accelerate product development and sales, while fuelling international expansion.
Clio is a leading practice management, time, billing, and client collaboration platform for small-to-mid-sized law firms. It was created to give lawyers an alternative to restrictive, expensive, and locally-hosted software programs.
Having started five years ago as just an idea sketched on a napkin, Clio has now turned into an organization with 100 employees and thousands of customers in 50 different countries. With the new funding, they plan to double their number of employees to 200 in the coming year.
