Graphite Software Lands Venture Capital
OTTAWA — The usual progression for a startup is to raise a little seed money from family and friends, move on to angel investors, then tap venture capital. But that’s not the route picked by Graphite Software, a Kanata startup less than a year old. It was to announce on Wednesday that it has landed $4.4 million in venture financing. The deal values the startup at somewhere between $9 million and $12 million.
