InGenius Software Inc. recently acquired by Upland Software Inc. for $29.4-million

The InGenius Software was recently acquired by Texas-based company Upland Software for a total of $29.4-million. The acquisition will help Upland offer a more personalized experience to customers.

InGenius Software is a Kanata based company was established in the 1990s and is a leading Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solution that seamlessly integrates existing phone systems to clients’ CRM systems. InGenius was named Techopia’s tech firms to watch in 2019 and made Canada’s fastest-growing companies two years in a row.

Uplands Software Inc. is a leader in cloud-based enterprise work management software which enables organizations to address specific work needs. The cloud-based solutions provide performance, scalability and security to over 1,000,000 global users.

LaBarge Weinstein acted as counsel to InGenius Software with a team that included Debbie Weinstein, Estelle Duez, Nick Jasperse and Tyler Cassack.
