LW Dusters Raise Over $4,800 for Prostate Cancer Research
Another Movember has come and gone and once again, Canada led the charge having raised more than $37,000,000.
In case you somehow missed hearing about it, Movember (a combination of “mo” – short form for moustache – and “November”) is an annual event that involves growing moustaches during the month of November to raise money for prostate cancer research.
Having started in Australia in 2004, Movember has become a worldwide phenomenon. Spreading primarily through word-of-mouth and social media, formal campaigns now exist in New Zealand, South Africa, Finland, Brazil, and many countries in between.
Made up of 13 Mo’ Bros and Mo’ Sistas, the LaBarge Weinstein team, The LW Dusters, finished 1099 nationally. Led by firm partner Shane McLean who raised $1051, the LW team earned donations totaling $4,846.
Thanks again to everyone who participated or donated to this worthwhile cause!
