MacEwen Petroleum recently acquired Quickie Convenience Stores
MacEwen Petroleum recently acquired all the Quickie Convenience Stores. The deal almost doubles the MacEwen’s network of convenience stores to 108 locations across Ontario and western Quebec.
MacEwen is an Ontario based Canadian owned and operates fuel and convenience store locations and has successfully built and sustained customer relationships in Ontario and Quebec over 45 years.
Quickie Convenience Stores is an Ottawa based company with 51 stores including 22 gas stations in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Entrepreneurs Arnold Kimmel and Larry Hartman co-founded the Quickie convenience store chain in 1973.
LaBarge Weinstein acted as counsel to Quickie with a team that included Paul LaBarge, Laura Venasse, Tyler Cassack, and Veronique Poulin.
