Pitching Opportunity for Technology Startups in the Ottawa Area
Axis Ottawa 2014 is a two-day conference taking place on September 9-10 at Algonquin College, which serves as a direct platform for global investors to meet promising Canadian startups. Axis Ottawa’s mission is to introduce and showcase emerging technology startups from the Greater Ottawa region to the international investment community.
The conference will host 150-200 delegates composed of Ottawa’s technology leaders, startup executives, supporters of the local eco-system, and representatives of global technology companies and international investment community. The Managing Director of IBM Venture Capital will be the keynote speaker. In addition, the corporate venture divisions of Docomo (Japan), Sandisk (US) and financial investors White Star Capital (UK), Apex Investments (Korea), Teres Capital (CEE) and others are all coming to see Ottawa startups and meet the key members of the ecosystem.
Axis Ottawa combines startup pitches with investor feedback and keynote presentations on subjects ranging from the startup future in Canada to mobile monetization and more. Axis Innovation carefully selects the participating startups from a host of candidates in order to introduce high caliber companies for consideration by VC funds and serious investors.
