Protecode Acquired by Synopsys, Inc.
Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS) has acquired Protecode, a privately held Ottawa-based software company that provides solutions for detecting and managing open source software (OSS) and the associated license and security risks.
LaBarge Weinstein acted as counsel to Protecode with a team that included James Smith, Estelle Duez, Michael Morgan, Dan Scott, and Sam Gregg-Wallace.
