SWTCH Energy an electric vehicle charging, and management start-up recently raised 16.5 million to expand its electric vehicle charging network to the US.
Swtch Energy secured 16.5 million CAD in a Series round led by the Venture capital arm of Aligned Climate Capital. The company is preparing to use this money to expand its EV charging solutions to multi-family buildings across North America.
Swtch is a start-up based in Toronto that provides end-to-end EV charging and energy management solutions. The company has installed around 1,500 charging stations in North America, mostly in Canada. SWTCH is also a member of the Clean Fight Program, a non-profit accelerator that is supported by NYSERDA and New Energy Nexus.
