Lawyer-Client Relationship

If you would like to retain LaBarge Weinstein, you may start the engagement process via the Website, which facilitates communications with members of LaBarge Weinstein by way of e-mail, phone or otherwise. Please note that receipt of any such communications by any member of LaBarge Weinstein does not create a lawyer-client relationship. A lawyer-client relationship will arise between you and LaBarge Weinstein only if a LaBarge Weinstein lawyer expressly agrees to represent you.

Confidentiality of Communications

LaBarge Weinstein does not guarantee the confidentiality of any communications made by you via e-mail or otherwise through the Website. Unsolicited information and materials received through the Website may not be treated as confidential or protected by lawyer-client privilege.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Jurisdiction

These Terms and any action related thereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You hereby irrevocably attorn to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts sitting in Ottawa, Ontario. You shall only be entitled to bring any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms in a court in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts for any such action or proceeding. You waive all rights that you may have or that may hereafter arise to contest the jurisdiction of such courts for any action or proceeding brought by you in respect to these Terms.

General Provisions

These Terms, including any documents referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between LaBarge Weinstein and you pertaining to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between you and LaBarge Weinstein with respect to the Service. A printed version of these Terms and any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to these Terms to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. LaBarge Weinstein’s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any provisions or right. If any of the provisions contained in these Terms are determined to be void, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the remaining provisions contained herein.
