VarageSale acquired by VerticalScope

VarageSale, Canadian Startup of the Year for 2014, has been acquired by VerticalScope.

The community-focused buy-and-sell website and app stood out among its competitors as members use their real names, identities and photos.

VerticalScope, a digital media company has a portfolio of more than 600 websites. As part of the acquisition, some members of VarageSale’s engineering and customer support department have joined VeritcalScope’s team in Toronto.
